Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Rilion Gracie.

Alexandro began training in 1996 and earned his black belt under Rilion Gracie in 2006. What started as a way to improve his physical health became a lasting commitment to Jiu-Jitsu, discipline and the friendships formed through training.

From student to academy founder

His early training fitted around work as a car salesman: conditioning in the morning, followed by Jiu-Jitsu at lunchtime and at night. His journey eventually led him to professional competition and the creation of Ceconi BJJ.

Competition experience. Technical knowledge.

A heavyweight competitor with international experience, Alexandro has competed at major Brazilian and international events, including the World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi. His official biography highlights guard passing and the armbar from side control among his preferred techniques.

At Ceconi BJJ Cypress, his technical expertise and enthusiasm for teaching help shape the academy's instruction, from a student's first movements to continued technical development.

Rosso Ceconi

Black belt awarded by Alexandro Ceconi in July 2020.

Gabriela started Jiu-Jitsu in May 2004 at the Rilion Gracie academy in Criciúma, Brazil. After finishing high school and finding a job, she used her first pay to enroll, turning a long-held wish to train into the beginning of her martial arts journey.

A competitor's journey

She competed from white belt onward, earning South American gold at blue belt and a Brazilian Nationals bronze at purple belt. After reducing her competition schedule during college, she returned at brown belt in 2018 and received her black belt in 2020.

Her black belt results include bronze at the 2020 Masters World Championship, gold at the 2021 Orlando Open, and weight and absolute titles at the 2022 New Orleans Open. She also earned silver in the heavyweight division and bronze in the absolute at the 2022 Pan-American Championship.

Confidence, belonging and shared progress

For Gabriela, Jiu-Jitsu became more than competition. Her focus includes helping others grow through the sport. At Cypress, she helps create a welcoming, empowering environment where children and adults can find their place on the mats.
